MARCH 2019

We start march playing chess! Our partner Jesús organized a workshop where all the pupils at school can learn about movements and tricks about this amazing and funny game. We tried with different figures like the horse, the queen, the rook or the bishop.

All the school celebrates "International Women's Day" with a radio programm. 3rd course has invited some granmothers and interviewed them about the role of women in the local history. Pupils first could talk with grandmas at the classroom and then walked to the radio station. Grandmothers enjoyed a very special day with children and we could learn a lot with them.

In Science 3rd course are learning about LIVING THINGS. Our project is very important. We are going to investigate about the sixth kingdoms and endangered animals.

Our first activity is to plant several plants into different pots. We all collaborate and now...must wait for the plants to grow.

We also went out for an excursion around our locality. An important fact was discovered near our school. Romans left different constructions in Mengibar such as "Jano's Door" (La Puerta de Jano) or a roman road that conects with Cordoba. It has been an amazing adventure because an animal expert talked us about indigenous birds, reptiles, mammals or plants.

This month has been special because we could play with a programmation kit on loan. We played and learned while had fun.

And finally we went to the...swimmimgpool!! It was such a great day! We played ans swimmed and learned to junp head to the water using a giant ball. We also danced and boxed. We had a lot of fun!  Thanks to the teacher Sandra for this amazing idea we hope could reapeat next course.
