JANUARY 2019, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year!! Another year starts, full of new oportunities and chances to learn lots of amazing things! Let's start!!

In 3º course we're learning about machines and energy. We are making simple machines and learning how they works and how can we use it to make our work easier. 

First of all we built a pulley and then transformed it into a car!! Do you like it? We had lots of fun. 

We also had a very special guest. Postmen went to our school to collect our letters of gratitude for the Three Wise Men where we thank for our presents.

We continue studying machines and forces. Now it's turn to build an amazing mechanism with mobile bees and flowers using levers. We had a lot of fun while we learn a lot of interesting things. 

We celebrated Children Rights' Day building a wall full of beautiful words than can be used to avoid conflicts and get more and more friends. Before fighting, stop and think, you can use one of these words and become friends instead enemies.

We ellaborated a human chain where all the pupils in our class (and the teacher too) are holding hands in order to represent that we are friends, we are a team, we help each other and everyone who need our help, we respect people.

At school we cellebrated the Children Rights' Day with a peaceful march to the Town Hall square, where we listened to guitar players, flamenco singers, dancers, short theaters... we finished the cellebration at school singing and dancing a beautiful song "Feliz", the Grinch soundtrack. 

Little Artists

First course are studying living things in the Science subject. Plants are living things...and they are learning a lot of these friends. Also, they are creating beautiful drawings inspired by Van Gogh. Look at their Art Gallery. It's beautiful!

They also are learning about the face and its parts. So they are investigating about Miro's paintings. Inspiring by his work they created all these amazing pintures.

Fall craft

After the fall party where we tasted and enjoyed lots of typical products of this year time, we have leant some interesting facts about fall.
We have observed that trees are changing their colour and loosing their leaves. The weather is rainy and cloudy more often and it is getting colder,
We made a cute hedgehog using a cone and brown leaves. We have enjoyed a lot during the activity!!!

Después de la fiesta del otoño donde degustamos y disfrutamos montones de productos típicos de esta época del año, hemos aprendido algunas curiosidades sobre el otoño.
Hemos observado que los árboles cambian su color y van perdiendo sus hojas. El clima es a menudo lluvioso y nublado y cada vez hace más frío.
Hemos hecho un precioso erizo usando una piña y hojas marrones. ¡Lo hemos pasado muy bien durante la actividad!
