FEBRUARY 2019...I LOVE YOU!!

1st grade has been learning in february about food and healthy habits. Their food pyramids are lovely and now they know about what to eat to be strong and healthy!

In 3rd grade we have been learning about energy. We are now concious about the importance of saving it for a better future. All of we must collaborate in order to get a clean world. This is the result: a selection of comics which try to concern the rest of pupils about how to save energy.

St. Valentine is here, so we we prepared a craft to show our pupils we love each others.

Also, we use for the first time our "Regards Door". Everyday at the end of school each pupils chooses how he/she says goodbye to the teacher. It's very funny and we have a special moment at the end of the day.

The 28th of february we cellebrate "Andalusia's Day". It's a very special day for us because is the place where we live. We investigated about the different provinces and located them in a map.

We learned several typical dances and songs that were sung by our parents and granparents when they were children.

We all meet in the playground and eat bread with our unique and delicious olive oil and a bit of chocolate. Then we listen to our hymns and dance and sing. It's a day to cellebrate we are proud to live in Andalucia.

St. Patrick's Day

On march, 17th we celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We have learnt his story throug videos and songs and all the representative elements of this day. Clovers, rainbows and pots full of gold. The legend tells that Leprechauns keep a pot full of gold at the end of the rainbow for whom can reach it.

Halloween

We celebrate this spooky festival at school with costumes, crafts and games. All the pupils join at the playground making a parade to show everybody our costumes.
After the parade we play "Snap apples", where all the apples are suspended by a string and we have to eat without using our hands, and how to convert a partner in a mummy using toilet paper.
