STUDYING LIVING THINGS THROUGH ART

Our bilingual classes also studied plants in the Art and Crafts subject. It has been very interesting because we discovered that many artist used plants, flowers and trees in their pictures that nowadays are very famous. 

We worked together and had a very good time colouring spirals, cutting them ang glueing all together. 

We also played a game called "Musical Hugs" and all the pupils get several hugs from different partners. 

We hope you like it because we LOVE IT!!!!!

LIVING THINGS - PLANTS

According to what we are learning in this unit about plants we have planted garbanzos, lentils and been seeds. We know that first of all we plant the seed. It needs water, sunlight and air, we just have to wait. Soon we colud see the steem and the leaves. 

Very soon!!  

Few days later our plants were as big as this one!!! We could also watch the roots. We love our plants.

Living Things - Lapbook

LAPBOOK ABOUT LIVING THINGS

This unit we have worked in groups to create a beautiful lapbook. We made three books about plants and other two books about animals. 

We talked about types of trees, if they are decidious or evergreen, their cycle of life, and what they need. 

And about animals we talked about their cycle, what they eat, how they move or interesting facts about their body. 

The other class has prepared a mural about living things. It's beautiful too!!! The corridor is amazing with our works.

VOLVEMOS A LA CARGA

September is here and we want to get back and met our friends, tell our summer stories and learn lots of things. And this year we have novelties..we will have a Conversation assistant all over the year!!
We're willing to meet her and learn a lot of english.

Llega septiembre y con él las ganas de ver a los amigos, de contar las aventuras del verano y de aprender nuevas cosas. Además este año tenemos novedades...¡tendremos una auxiliar de conversación en el cole!

Tenemos muchas ganas de conocerla y aprender mucho.

Trabajo colaborativo The Weather

In Natural Science class, with Jesús, the bilingual teacher and the practice teacher Carmen, we have worked in a collaborative way making a mural about the weather.
We have learnt lot of things about the weather and worked it in a different way as we are used to.
It has been very funny and we have learnt a lot. The result has also been very nice and it is useful to decorate the classroom and remember what has been learnt  and to remember forever.

En clase de Ciencias naturales, con el maestro bilingüe Jesús y la seño de prácticas Leonor, hemos trabajado de forma colaborativa y hemos hecho un mural sobre el tiempo atmosférico. Hemos aprendido muchas cosas sobre el clima y hemos trabajado de forma diferente a la que estamos acostumbrados. Ha sido muy divertido y hemos aprendido mucho. Además se nos ha quedado muy bonito y nos sirve para tenerlo expuesto en clase y recordar así todo lo que hemos aprendido y no olvidarlo.

Proyecto Europeo sobre animales

We have participate in an European project about animals collaborating with several schools from all around Europe through the educative online page E-Twinning. In the following pictures you can see the large list of participating schools .
We have enlarged our knwoledge about animals, learning different and interesting facts about them through very funny activities.

Hemos ampliado nuestros conocimientos sobre ellos, aprendiendo muchos datos interesantes a través de muchas actividades divertidas.

BOOK'S DAY

We are celebrating Book's Day along the week. It's a very important date. We made a bookmark in homage to Gloria Fuertes, wrote redactions about our grandparents, read a looooot and made crafts.

Llevamos toda la semana celebrando el Día del Libro. Es una fecha muy importante. Hemos hecho marcapáginas en homenajes a Gloria Fuertes, escrito redacciones sobre nuestros abuelos, hemos leido un montón y hemos hecho manualidades. Esta es una mascota para adornar nuestro dormitorio.
